It has been confirmed that “Mary Shelley” will premiere this year at Toronto International Film Festival that take place from the 7th September 2017 to the 17th September 2017. Make sure to check out the gallery to see all the photos about the movie.

Elle Fanning has been cast as Frankenstein author Mary Shelley in a film with the author’s name as the title. The romantic drama will be directed by Haifaa al-Mansour, the first female director out of Saudi Arabia, with Amy Baer producing via her Gidden Media banner.

The film summary

‘Mary Shelley‘ tells the story of Percy Shelley’s passionate love affair with Mary Wollstonecraft, who would later write her famous novel Frankenstein as Mary Shelley.
